This coin's obverse depicts Kaiser Wilhelm I (b1797-1888).  The A under the bust is the mintmark for the Berlin mint.  The German legend says WILHELM DEUTSCHER KAISER KONIG V. PREUSSEN (William German Kaiser King of Prussia).  The reverse pictures the German imperial coat of arms with DEUTSCHES REICH (German Empire) on the sides.  The bottom shows the date 1872 with the denomination 10 M. just above.
