The obverse features the toughra of Sultan Mehmet V (also known as Muhammed V, b1844-d1918), the Ottoman Turkish ruler from 1909-1918.  Below the toughra is the regnal year 4 in Arabic and to the right is RESHAT. The reverse has an Arabic legend with  QUSTANTINIYAH (the Turkish name for Constantinople) and the accession year of 1327.

The obverse features the toughra of Sultan Mehmet V (also known as Muhammed V, b1844-d1918), the Ottoman Turkish ruler from 1909-1918.  Below the toughra is the regnal year 10 in Arabic and to the right is EL-GHASI. The reverse has an Arabic legend with  QUSTANTINIYAH (the Turkish name for Constantinople) and the accession year of 1327.

The obverse features the toughra of Sultan Mehmet VI (also known as Muhammed VI, brother of Muhammed V, b1861-d1926), the Ottoman Turkish ruler from 1918-1922. Mehmet fled Turkey in 1922. Below the toughra is the regnal year 2 in Arabic. The reverse has an Arabic legend with  QUSTANTINIYAH (the Turkish name for Constantinople) and the accession year of 1336.
