The obverse features a bust of King Carl XV (b1826-d1872) with the legend CARL XVI SVERIGES NORG. GOTH. O. VEND. KONUNG (Carl XV King of the Swedes, Norse, Gotlanders, and Vendlanders).  Under the bust are the initials L.A. for the engraver Lea Alhborn The reverse has the Swedish arms surrounded by the denomination 1 CAROLIN 10 FRANCS. The fineness 9/10 FINT are at the top and the date 1868 at the bottom.

The obverse features a bust of King Oscar II (b1829-d1907) with the legend OSCAR II SVERIGES O. NORGES KONUNG (Oscar II King of the Swedes and Norse).  Under the bust are the initials L.A. for the designer Lea Alhborn and the date 1874 (this is the overcut date with the 4 cut over a 3). The reverse has the Swedish arms surrounded by the motto BRÜDRAFOLKENS VAL (The Welfare of the Brother Peoples) and the denomination 10 KRONOR at the bottom. A privy mark of a facing king is to the right of the arms and the initials S.T. (for Sebastian Tham) are to the right.

The reverse has the united Swedish-Norwegian royal arms. The motto BRÜDRAFOLKENS VAL (The Welfare of the Brother Peoples) surrounds the top half whilst the denomination 20 KRONOR is at the bottom. The engraver's initial EB are to the right of the arms.


10 Kronor - 1901

The obverse features a bust of King Oscar II (b1829-d1907) with the legend OSCAR II SVERIGES OCH NORGES KONGUNG (Oscar II King of the Swedes and the Norse).  Under the bust are the date 1901 and two five pointed stars. The reverse has the united Swedish-Norwegian royal arms. The motto BRÜDRAFOLKENS VAL (The Welfare of the Brother Peoples) surrounds the top half whilst the denomination 10 KRONOR is at the bottom. The engraver's initial EL are to the right of the arms.


5 Kronor - 1920

KM-797 - 2,24 g 

Mintage - 0,103M

The obverse features a bust of King Gustav V (b1858-d1950) with the legend GUSTAV V SVERIGES KONGUNG (Oscar II King of the Swedes).  Under the bust is the date 1920. The reverse has the the prominent denomination 5 KRONOR with the three crowns arms of Sweden and below are crossed branches with a privy mark to the left and the engraver's initial W to the right.
