This coin's obverse depicts Kaiser Wilhelm II (b1859-d1941).  The J under the bust is the mintmark for the Hamburg mint.  The German legend says WILHELM II DEUTSCHER KAISER KONIG V. PREUSSEN (Wilhem II German Kaiser King of Prussia).  The reverse pictures the German imperial coat of arms with DEUTSCHES REICH (German Empire) and the date 1909 on the sides.  The bottom shows the denomination 20 MARK.

This coin's obverse depicts a military bust of Kaiser Wilhelm II (b1859-d1941).  The A under the bust is the mintmark for the Berlin mint.  The German legend says WILHELM II DEUTSCHER KAISER KONIG VON PREUSSEN (Wilhem II German Kaiser King of Prussia).  The reverse pictures the German imperial coat of arms with DEUTSCHES REICH (German Empire) and the date 1914 on the sides.  The bottom shows the denomination 20 MARK.
