DE DIOS Y LA CONST (Isabella II By The Grace of God and the Constitution).  The date 1861 is below the bust. The reverse has the Spanish royal arms flanked by the denomination 1 P. Above the arms is the Spanish legend REINA DE LAS ESPAŅAS (Queen of the Spains) and below is FILIPINAS (Philippines).
