The reverse has the royal arms with the denomination VINGT FRANCS around the top and the date 1878 at the bottom flanked by privy marks.20

Prince Albert I (b1848-d1922) encircled by the French legend ALBERT I PRINCE OF MONACO.
The designer's name O. ROTY is below the bust. The reverse has the royal arms of the House of Grimaldi, the
date 1895 at the mid left and mid right, the mint mark A for the Paris Mint with
the privy marks abovebelow the bow, and
the denomination CENT FRANCS in French.
