The obverse has a bust of Napoleon Bonaparte (b1769-d1821) . His title NAPOLEONE IMPERATORE E RE (Napoleon Emperor and King) is around the top. The date 1808 and mintmark M (for the Milan mint) is below the bust with privy marks on either side. The reverse has the imperial arms with the country's name REGNO  D'ITALIA on either side of the arms and the denomination 40 LIRE below.

The obverse has a bust of King Victor Emmanuel II (b1820-d1878) surrounded by the Italian legend VITTORIO EMANUELE II.  The date 1863 is at the bottom with the designer's surname FERRARIS below the bust.  The reverse has the royal arms of Savoy which is composed of a central escutcheon decorated with a silver cross on red background, with the royal crown on the top. The escutcheon is surrounded by the the pendant collar of  the Order of the Holiest Annunciation (Ordine della Santissima Annunziata) which is within a wreath. The order was one of greatest chivalric orders of all times. It was established in 1362 by Amedeo VI of Savoy (b1334-d1383). The collar is composed of a series of knots, symbolizing unity, and roses. The legend REGNO D'ITALIA (Kingdom of Italy) circles at the top and the denomination L-10 is at the bottom flanked by the script T mint mark for the Turin mint to the left and the script initials BN to the right.

The obverse has a bust of King Victor Emmanuel II (b1820-d1878) surrounded by the Italian legend VITTORIO EMANUELE II.  The date 1863 is at the bottom with the designer's surname FEORA below the bust.  The reverse has the royal arms of Savoy which is composed of a central escutcheon decorated with a silver cross on red background, with the royal crown on the top. The escutcheon is surrounded by the the pendant collar of  the Order of the Holiest Annunciation (Ordine della Santissima Annunziata) which is within a wreath. The order was one of greatest chivalric orders of all times. It was established in 1362 by Amedeo VI of Savoy (b1334-d1383). The collar is composed of a series of knots, symbolizing unity, and roses. The legend REGNO D'ITALIA (Kingdom of Italy) circles at the top and the denomination L-20 is at the bottom flanked by the script T mint mark for the Turin mint to the left and the script initials BN to the right. The obverse has a bust of King Victor Emmanuel III (b1869-d1947). Around the bust is the Italian legend VITTORIO EMANVELE  III  RE D'ITALIA (Victor Emmanuel II King of Italy). A MOTTI is below the truncheon of the bust  The reverse has the fasces with ax. The denomination 100 LIRE is to the left and the date  OTTOBRE 1922-1923 to the right of the figure and an R (for the Rome Mint) is at the lower left of the figure. The coin was issued to celebrate the first anniversary of the accession of Mussolini's Fascist government.

The obverse has a bust of King Victor Emmanuel III (b1869-d1947). Around the bust is the Italian legend VITT - EM - III - RE (Victor Emmanuel II King). G - ROMAGNOLI - A - MOTTI - INC. is below the truncheon of the bust  The reverse has an allegorical figure of a Roman citizen in toga carrying a fasces. The legend ITALIA circles the figure and the denomination L. 50 and the date 1931 - IX is at the lower right of the figure and an R (for the Rome Mint) is at the lower left of the figure.
