10 Kroner - 1877

The obverse features a bust of King Christian IX (b1818-d1906).  The legend CHRISTIAN IX KONGE AF DANMARK (Christian IX King of Denmark) surrounds the bust.  The the heart privy mark and mintmaster's initials CS  (for Diderick Christian Andreas Svendsen) are below the bust on either side of the date 1877.  The reverse has a representation of Denmark with the Danish arms on the shield surrounded at he top with the denomination 10 KRONER.


20 Kroner - 1873
