The obverse has the bust of Frederick (b1826-d1907)and the inscription FRIEDRICH GROSHERZOG VON BADEN (Frederick Grand Duke of Baden) with the mintmark G below the bust. The reverse has the Imperial arms with the legend DEUTSCHES REICH and the year 1875 around the top and the denomination 10 MARK at the bottom. This reverse is the Type II which has smaller arms.
