GHAZNAVID EMPIRE
The Ghaznavid dynasty was a Turkic mamlukdynasty which adopted Persian culture and ruled much o Persia, Transoxania,and the northern parts of the Indian subcontinent from 975 to 1186. The dynasty had Chazna (modern-day Ghazni Province in modern Afghamistan).

The obverse has the toughra of Abdur Rahman (1880-1901) known as the "Iron Amir" within a wreath with the denomination in Persian AMANI ½ at the top and the date 1304 below. The revere pictures a mosque within a wreath with the regnal date YEAR 7 at the bottom.
